It is recommended to keep the carton and packing material for storage or transportation of the unit. If you decide to dispose of the packing material, waste recycling where possible. 2.

It can be installed with our without the expandable panels. Make sure the opening is large enough for the unit size. Modify accordingly for other types of windows.
* Page 10: Prepare Air Conditioner For Installation PREPARE AIR CONDITIONER FOR INSTALLATION FIX THE EXPANDABLE PANELS ON THE AIR CONDITIONER BEOFRE PLACING THE UNIT IN THE WINDOW. NOTE: Bottom and side rails are factory installed. 1. TOP MOUNTING RAIL (# A11MDA10AG only): Align the holes in the top rail with those on the top of the air conditioner; secure the top rail to the unit with four 3/8”..
* Page 11: Installing The Air Conditioner INSTALLING THE AIR CONDITIONER Center the air conditioner in the window opening with the lower rail of the unit behind and against the back side of the window sill. Carefully close the window behind the top rail of the unit. Extend the left and right expandable panels into the vertical window sash.
* Page 12: Led Display Control Panel LED DISPLAY CONTROL PANEL You can easily operate this air conditioner by pressing the relevant button on the control panel as well as the remote controller. NAME ICON FUNCTION This powers the air conditioner ON and OFF. ON/OFF Press this button to select the mode (in sequence).

* Page 16: Unit Operation UNIT OPERATION Once the air conditioner is properly installed, follow these operating instructions: Plug the unit into a grounded outlet. Do not use an extension cord or an adapter plug. In Cooling mode, when turning your air conditioner off, always wait at least 3 minutes before turning it back on.
*Page 17 ENERGY SAVER MODE This feature can be used when the air conditioner is in COOL mode. On this mode, the air conditioner cycles on and off to maintain the set temperature. This feature is recommended when the room is unoccupied. Note: The fan and the compressor may not cycle on and off simultaneously.
* Page 18: Air Direction Control AIR DIRECTION CONTROLS AIR DIRECTION Depending on the model of your air conditioner, use the tab to direct the airflow right or left or rotate the horizontal louvers to direct the airflow up or down. MAINTENANCE CLEANING THE FILTER The air filter is removable for easy cleaning. A clean filter helps to remove dust, lint and other particles from the air.
